Black People vs. Black People

Reading the news and blogs, I’ve come across an interesting debate.  A debate that’s been going on for years.  It’s the debate of black people vs. black people.  It comes in many forms, be it light vs. dark skin, good hair vs. bad hair, natural vs. weave, ghetto vs. non ghetto, and the list will go on and on and on.  The one common denominator is that it’s black people vs. black people.  It’s known that black people are the most racist race around, and in fact it’s sometimes perceived as a joke.  And frankly that hurts and makes me angry the most.  The fact that black people are so racist against each other and the fact they think it’s funny.  Now not all black people do, there’s actually a lot of us out there that don’t think it’s funny and think it’s dumb, but unfortunately our voices aren’t heard.

Who Wore It Best: Christian Louboutin Pigalle Spike Pumps

Kim Kardashian was spotted out in Los Angeles wearing a white peplum blouse, J Brand Pencil Leg 12 Venom Pants and studded Christian Louboutin Pigalle Pumps.  The same pumps that Serena Williams wore at the Championship dinner.  Serena paired the pumps with a satin gold dress with long sheer sleeves and a black and gold Burberry box clutch.

Rihanna Gets Playful in Next Month's Harper's Bazaar

When it comes to fashion, Rihanna has never been one to shy away from anything that is considered trendy, sexy, or bizarre.  So, why should her cover for next month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar be any different?  On the cover Rihanna’s wearing a very sexy and feminine all white Tom Ford Gown, but it gets better, because, inside the magazine, readers will be treated to a 7 pages of Rihanna wearing Alexander Wang, Balmain, and Emporio Armani.

Lil Wayne and Supra

Looks like Kanye West isn’t the only rapper that can design a special shoe.  Lil Wayne is following in the footsteps of many before him and is currently working with Supra, a known skateboarding footwear company, to design a line of shoes. 

The shoes are not only great for skateboarding, but are very fashionable, they come in a large variety of colors, and can be worn with anything from skinny jeans to fitted jeans.

A special preview of the shoes will be available at the PROJECT trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 20-22.

Who is Brianna Perry?

If you were watching the BET Awards and on Twitter, you might have heard the whispers of who Brianna Perry is.  She was nominated for “Best Female Rapper” at the 2012 BET Awards. 

Brianna is a Miami-bred rapper who managed to get a lot of interest in the music industry with her song titled “Dear Hip Hop.”

And now here she is with a new music video for her latest singe, “Back Der,” which is off of her 2011 “Face Off” mixtape.

M.I.A. Glitters in gold at Paris Fashion Week

M.I.A. attended the Atelier Versace Fall 2012 fashion show at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Paris, France Sunday night.  A person who always takes risks, M.I.A. proved that any look can be pulled off if done correctly.  She glittered in a gold vintage Gianni Versace ensemble, which consisted of a pair of gold printed Lycra leggings and a gold-printed top, topped off with a cropped leather jacket with gold detailing, gold jewelry, a Versace clutch, and Versace pointy-toe pumps that matched her gold theme perfectly.
