Looks like TV One is hoping on the Reality TV train, with
new reality series ‘R&B Divas,’ featuring some much loved R&B singers
from the 90’s, Monifah, Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Syleena Johnson, and KeKe
Wyatt, and apparently this show does not need to manufacture drama *calling
Mona Scott Young, Shaunie O’Neal, and all those other Reality TV Producers*, in
the trailer for the show, apparently Monifah asks her daughter how she feels
about her same sex partner and whether she supports it or not:
"In this exclusive super trailer, Monifah is shown asking her teen daughter how she feels about her relationship with a woman. “Can you support our union,” she asks, on the verge of tears. “I don’t support it,” her daughter Akemi answers. —Essence.com"
Hmmm, sounds
interesting. I will probably end up
tuning in or at least watching it On Demand, I love most of the R&B Singers
featured on the show, and it will be good to watch some non ratchetness.
The show airs on TV
One, Monday August 20th, 2012, at 10pm. Will you be tuning
in?
